To report orphaned, ill or injured wildlife: (250) 337-2021 Comox Valley, Canada

Event Ambassadors Raise Money, Awareness

If it’s going on in the Comox Valley, we’re there!

Every year MARS community event ambassadors attend scores of events throughout the Comox Valley spreading the message about the need to protect and preserve wildlife and habitats while raising much needed funding for the MARS Wildlife Rescue Centre. You can meet bird handler Reg Westcott and his menagerie of raptors, or pick up a gift idea from the wide array of branded products on sale at our tables and booths for the wildlife lover in your life.

As always, we’ll be at the Campbell River Salmon Festival Logger Sports, the Comox Shellfish Festival and the Canada Day celebrations at Lewis Park in Courtenay. We’ll be at both the May and September versions of the Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens Art and Bloom Festival, Nautical Days and Market Day Down Fifth Street in Courtenay and the Black Creek Christmas Market.

No event? No problem! Shopping malls, banks, grocery stores and YQQ are just some of the many places you’ll find our ambassadors and fundraisers out in the community. Check out the calendar below and come say hi!

We’d love to hear from you.

“Although physical limitations prevent me from being a caregiver any longer, my first choice would be to work “hand on” with the animals and birds. Now I feel I am fulfilling an important role in other endeavours.”
